Manchester United target Dayot Upamecano has snubbed a potential move to Old Trafford to join FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Last month, FootMercato.net reported that Valenciennes accepted a £450,000 offer from the Red Devils for the player.
But the youngster decided to move to Austria, much to the delight of head of football Christoph Freundsn.
"Dayot decided to join us despite getting offers from some top European clubs," he said.
"That makes us very proud and shows that we have already made a name for ourselves internationally in the field of developing talent.
"He has enormous potential, and we are sure that he will settle in quickly with us."
