Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is flattered by interest from Manchester United.
According to reports, the experienced German is one of the main targets for the Red Devils as boss Louis van Gaal continues to strengthen his squad after they finished in the top four last season.
And Rummenigge admits that the 30-year-old could be tempted to make a move to the English Premier League.
"I have spoken to Bastian on the phone while we have been on holiday and will speak again now that he is back," Rummenigge said.
"I cannot deny the fact that I have understood during these conversations that he is flattered by the interest from England."
