Southampton are pushing Manchester United to complete the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin this week, the Telegraph has revealed.
The Frenchman wants to leave the club to feature in next season's Champions League with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all reported to be interested in the player.
On Thursday, the 25-year-old confirmed that negotiations are ongoing with the Saints ahead of next week's transfer window.
"The negotiations are ongoing," he is quoted as saying by The Guardian.
"It should be completed in the coming days, hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton's pre-season] training next week."
