Former Manchester United midfielder Anderson Luis de Abreu Oliveira says United target Rodrigo Dourado deserves to play for the Brazilian national side.
The youngster was monitored by Manchester United scouts and is considered by many as Michael Carrickās potential successor at Old Trafford.
He revealed earlier this season that his dream is to play in a top European club.
And Anderson believes the 20-year-old possesses all the attributes to succeed in European football.
"Dourado will at some time play for the national team," Anderson is quoted as saying by Sambafoot.
"He's a quick player, outstanding. He plays it simple but allows players such as myself to attack.
He's a new kid, but soon will leave Internacional. He is a European player."
