Atletico Madrid star Miranda will not be at the club next season, according to Express Sport.
The Brazilian is one of the many targets for Chelsea and Manchester United to strengthen in defence with the Red Devils leading the race.
Asked about the possibility of joining Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, the player said to be flattered about the link.
"Of course this news reaches me, and it makes me happy. It shows I am doing well," he told Estadao last month.
"It makes me proud, but my intention is to stay at Atletico because I still have a year and a half on my contract."
