Manchester United are ready to rekindle their interest in Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne after seeing Dani Alves stay at Barcelona, sources have told ESPN FC.
The 24-year-old, also a target for Liverpool, is back on United's radar after Barcelona full back Dani Alves signed a new contract with the Liga champions.
The Reds have already failed in a £10m bid to sign the Englishman who will only leave the Saints to join a club that will feature in next season's Champions League.
"It's always good to have teams looking out for you, it shows how well you've been doing all season," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"I am going to take that, and keep on performing and be the best player I can be.
"Right now I'm concentrating on playing for Southampton, there are still games to play, and try to push for that fourth spot.
"I am an ambitious person and I want to play Champions League football. To win the title and the FA Cup, that is what I want."
