Gonzalo Higuain has agreed terms to join Manchester United this summer, Metro reports.
The Argentine is expected to leave the Italian Serie A after a turbulent campaign at Napoli ended with a missed penalty that allowed Lazio to leapfrog Napoli in the table and qualify for next season's Champions League play-offs.
The 27-year-old, also a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, scored 29 goals in 58 appearances for the Partenopei this season and is expected to leave for £30m.
He is set to take over from striker Radamel Falcao who returned to Monaco after his loan spell at Old Trafford with Chelsea reported to be interested in the Colombian.
