Lazio are ready to sign important players after qualifying for next season's Champions League play-offs.
According to Il Messaggero, the Italian club is ready to offer £11m to sign Manchester United's Robin van Persie with Juventus also interested.
The 31-year-old is expected to take over from Germany's Miroslav Klose in the Lazio offensive department.
Earlier this week, the striker said:
"I want to play every week at a high level at a big club. The club have to do some homework, so will I," van Persie told Voetbal International.
"I will take everything into consideration and weigh up what is best in this strange situation.
"This is a big boys' world. Louis van Gaal is not the coach of Robin van Persie, he's the coach of Manchester United.
"He has to deal with 25 players and it's not all about me. I can handle whatever the situation is this summer."
