Barcelona defender Dani Alves will be announced as a Manchester United player after the Berlin Champions League final.
Boss Louis van Gaal is determined to strengthen the defensive department ahead of next season and the 32-year-old would add experience to the squad.
Last week, the Brazilian confirmed that he met with Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and that he will make an announcement after the game against Juventus.
"Playing the Champions League final is a reward, especially considering how much we fought to reach it," the player said.
"My future? At the moment there are many other important things to take care of.
"Out of respect to everyone, my focus is on the finals we have ahead of us.
"After June 7, my future will be more clear. I wanted to stay quiet but I read so many stupid things on my future that I wanted to make things clear.
"I am yet to decide and I prefer not to talk about the chat I had with the president."
