Manchester United are reportedly set to open negotiations with Real Madrid concerning the transfer of Gareth Bale, according to Metro.
After qualifying for next season's Champions League, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is determined to fight for the Premier League and the Champions League next season.
And just like last summer, the Red Devils are ready to splash the cash to satisfy the Dutchman's needs.
The Welshman joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2013 for £85m and will leave the Santiago Bernabeu if a similar offer is made this summer.
He played 92 games in all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring 39 goals.
No Messi move for PSG
Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has ruled out a possible move for Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
"What is important at Paris Saint-Germain is to know how to handle the pressure," Blanc said.
"Many believe Paris Saint-Germain will never be amongst the best unless we win the Champions League but I disagree. PSG is already a great club and one day we will win the Champions League.
"We will not buy Lionel Messi, although he would make things easier.
"Our objective is to strengthen, even though the squad is already strong."
