Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says the injury situation has improved after midfielder Fabian Delph and defender Gael Clichy worked regularly with the rest of the squad.
The Citizens face Watford away from home on Saturday as they continue their quest to cut the gap from the top of the table.
"Delph and Clichy worked normally today," Pellegrini said on Thursday.
"They had some small problems in the last game. All the other players apart from Kompany and Nasri are fit.
"We are trying to do all we know to help Vincent to try to be fit and not to continue with the same calf problems – as I say, everything the club can do, we are going to do it.
"[New signings?] I think the squad is complete. As always, I said that we are not going to completely rule anything out, but we are not really thinking of any special players to bring in.
"I don't talk about rumours. I am telling you what I am thinking about for our squad in this moment.
"I feel we are in a good position. Always the best position is to be top of the table, but I think that this is a special season in the Premier League.
"With the amount of points we have at this moment, it is not good to fight for the title in a normal season when you finish with a lot more points.
"However, we are three points behind the leaders and I hope we are going to complete strongly with a very good second half of the season."
