Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini was satisfied with his side's performance despite a goalless draw at Leicester City.
It was City's first clean sheet since the 0-0 away draw at Aston Villa on November 8.
And the Chilean was delighted with the performance of his defensive department.
"We had more possession, more attempts on goal, more clear options but it was a tough game against a very good team playing away," Pellegrini said.
"I always say if you cannot win, don't lose but I think we did all that we could to try and win the game. We didn't come to try to draw. We spent the whole game going for the three points.
"We didn't allow them to create options for players like Mahrez and Vardy that are in a very good moment."
