Manchester City in £35m offer for Arsenal midfielder target

By

Manchester City are ready to follow up their £49m swoop for Raheem Sterling by making a £35m offer for Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne, Express Sport has revealed.

The Citizens are determined to bounce back after a very disappointing campaign last season and the Belgium international has emerged as a possible target for the club.

De Bruyne has quickly established himself as one of the most impressive players in Europe since heading back to Germany.

Last week, Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs says no offers have been made so far for the 24-year-old.

"I'm not worried," Allofs told Kicker.

"I don't know anything about these possible offers. So, there's nothing to talk about."
