Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is glad to get another three points in the bag, despite a below-par performance at the Etihad.
The Citizens struggled in the early stages of the game against Leicester City and were made to wait before taking the lead through David Silva's strike.
And they only made sure of all three points late in the game when James Milner scored his side's second in the 88th minute.
"It's been a difficult week but from the beginning we tried to dominate," Pellegrini is quoted as saying by the BBC.
"It was very important to score our first goal when we did but we had more chances in second half and we improved.
"At 1-0 you are one ball away from drawing the game.
"It's very important to play well but the most important thing is to win."
