Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini admits he was worried when the Citizens failed to break the deadlock in the first 80 minutes of the game against Aston Villa.
City needed a Yaya Toure piece of magic to open the scoring at Villa Park with Sergio Aguero securing all three points minutes later with Pellegrini's side now second in the table, just two points from leaders Chelsea who are in action later on today against Arsenal.
"I was thinking a little bit that it wasn't going to be our day," Pellegrini is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"When we have just eight minutes to go, you are a little worried, but I trusted that one of those chances would be scored because we have important players to do that.
"I have told the players that in May you are going to win or lose the Premier League by just a point or so, so everyone you drop on the way makes it more difficult.
"It is very difficult to recover the points against a team like Chelsea, and the only way to do it is to win every game."
