Former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp says he will take a break from football after "seven intense and emotional years" at the German club.
The 47-year-old was one of the many coaches tipped to take over from Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers or Napoli's Rafa Benitez after saying he did not intend to take a sabbatical.
But he has now confirmed that he will not take any new roles next season.
"After seven intense and emotional years, I think it's a good idea to let the numerous memories settle in before I take on a new challenge with my coaching team, refreshed and fully motivated," Klopp said in a statement published by Germany's SID agency.
"I'm going to take a break until further notice."
