Napoli coach Rafa Benitez will make a move for Liverpool striker Raheem Sterling if he becomes Real Madrid boss.
The Spaniard is expected to be announced as new Real Madrid coach next week and the Daily Mirror says the 20-year-old will be the first player he will bring to the Spanish Liga.
Benitez will speak to the media in a press conference later on today but he will not answer questions concerning his future.
Meanwhile, Liverpool target Eduardo Salvio is expected to stay at Benfica.
"A player never knows what will happen next," the 24-year-old told A Bola.
"But this is my home and I am happy to be here. I give weight to these aspects of life and the happiness of my family.
"Which is why I want to stay at Benfica for one, two, three, maybe 10 more years."
