Former Palermo striker Abel Hernandez will leave Hull City after the Tigers failed to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
According to Tuttosport, Serie A side Torino are ready to make a move for the 24-year-old but they will face competition from Liverpool who were already interested in the Uruguayan in the summer of 2013.
Torino are ready to sign the player on loan with a right to buy clause at the end of the season.
The Reds are in desperate need of players to strengthen their offensive department especially after winger Raheem Sterling opted not to sign a new contract with the club.
Hernandez played 26 games in all competitions for the Tigers this season, scoring four goals, all in the Premier League.
