Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva will probably be sidelined for weeks after suffering a thigh injury, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.
The Brazilian was replaced by Joe Allen during last Saturday's Merseyside derby and will be assessed on Tuesday to understand how long he will be forced out of action.
The Northern Irishman is however confident that key players in the offensive department will be fit and ready to start against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night.
"Lucas is one that will probably miss a little bit of time. We're just waiting on the exact results of the scan," Rodgers said.
"All the others should be fine.
"Phil Coutinho had a knock on his knee and Raheem [Sterling] had a knock on his foot.
"We had fresh players on the bench to bring on [against Everton] and hopefully they will be fit for Tuesday.
"We need to see how he [Adam Lallana]is but he has a big possibility for Tuesday.
"He's [Daniel Sturridge os] in a condition where he has been training for a little bit of time. There'll be a time where he will be able to start, whether it's tomorrow or whether it's at the weekend, you'll have to wait and see."
