Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says a number of key players will be assessed on Saturday ahead of the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Striker Daniel Sturridge came off the bench on Wednesday against Bolton Wanderers and will probably be on the bench again for Saturday's game.
But Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Mario Balotelli could be in the squad to face Roberto Martinez's side.
"Every player wants to play, not just Daniel," Rodgers said.
"You go into each game and every player that gets paid here at the football club wants to play.
"Daniel is coming along very well. It's not that he won't start, [but] we need to analyse that over the next couple of days. We shall see.
"We'll see tomorrow [on Lazar Markovic]. Dejan Lovren and Mario Balotelli were out for last night, Lucas Leiva was out as well.
"We'll see. There's nobody definitely ruled out, but we'll see how they are tomorrow."
Meanwhile, the Northern Irishman predicts an exciting game with the Toffees.
"It's very exciting," he said.
"You get the build-up right the way through the week, but we had our focus on the FA Cup tie.
"But as soon as the final whistle went last night and we were into the next round, the focus and the preparation was very much on Everton.
"I've been involved in a few of the [derby] games now over the last two-and-a-half years and they are wonderful games to be involved in.
"They go so fast, they are full of emotion and the quality of the football at times is outstanding under real intense pressure."
