If Chelsea want to sign manager Maurizio Sarri then they have to pay his €8m release clause, agent Alessandro Pellegrini has revealed.
The 59-year-old is one of the many managers linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge.
Current boss Antonio Conte is expected to leave the club with recent reports claiming that he could be sacked as early as this week.
Pellegrini has rubbished rumours saying important clubs already made offers for Sarri but according to Italian TV channel Sky Sport 24, the former Empoli boss will certainly leave the club this summer.
"We haven't received any offers from Chelsea, Tottenham, Milan or Zenit," Pellegrini told Sport Express.
"Could Sarri leave? For a club to appoint him, they need to pay his €8m release clause."
