Roma have again confirmed that defender Kostas Manolas is not for sale.
He was very close to leaving the club in June after the Giallorossi accepted an offer from Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.
And recently, the Greece international has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea or Arsenal this summer.
But it now seems that the 26-year-old will continue in Italy.
He started yesterday's game away at Atalanta and is considered by manager Eusebio Di Francesco as a key element of his defensive department.
"Manolas for sale? No, we are working to sign players, not sell them," Roma director Monchi told Mediaset Premium.
"I spend all day with the players and can see they have faith in the coach and the system they are adopting."
