Chelsea have raised their bid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to £35million to test Arsenal’s determination to hold on to the England star.
The Daily Star has claimed that the Blues are determined to add the 23-year-old to Antonio Conte's squad.
Liverpool have also made touch to sign the winger with a bid of £25million but it was rejected by the Gunners.
On Wednesday, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made it clear that he doesn't want to sell the player who will play an important role in his squad this campaign.
"Yes [he is part of my plans], I think in his career he had some bad moments because he had some small injuries," Wenger said on Wednesday.
"Last year he was much more stable. Personally, I think he is a hugely talented player. He is on the way up and he will continue to move up because that potential is there.
"He is today very conscious of his qualities as well, which he was not always, and I personally believe he will be a very great player."
