Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says Champions League football is the reason why he wants to sign more players this month.
The Italian is happy with the four signings made so far by the Blues but is eager to add more quality to his squad.
Chelsea lost last Sunday's Charity Shield game against Arsenal but will be determined to bounce back when they host Burnley at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
"I think these [Tiemoue Bakayoko, Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger] are good signings for us," Conte told Sky Sports.
"We solved a lot in this summer, and for this reason it's very important to try to improve our squad because we have one more competition.
"We have to play Champions League. It's not easy. It's very important to try to find the right solution, to try to improve the squad, to improve the quality before [we] start the season."
