23-year-old defender: "Yes, I have offers but I want to play for Chelsea next season"

By

Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo says he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at Alanyaspor but is now determined to fight for a regular place in Antonio Conte's squad.

He has received a number of offers from Turkish clubs as his future remains uncertain.

"Yes, I do have offers for Turkey," he is quoted as saying by The Nation.

"But I am focused at staying in England should the right opportunity present itself. If not, I will consider alternative options.

"The English Premier League is a great league. Very challenging and one that I know I can handle when given the chance."
