Chelsea want to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky Sports.
There is confusion surrounding the future of the talented striker.
Director Michael Zorc has declared on Tuesday that he will stay in Germany.
But pundit Stewart Robson is convinced that the Gabon international will in the end move to the English Premier League as he believes that the 28-year-old is a better striker than new Arsenal signing Alexandre Lacazette.
"He's a very good player and he's as good as most of the players we've been talking about," Robson said on ESPN FC.
"Is he better than Lacazette? I think he probably is.
"He could be the start of it all. He could be the player that moves and everybody else follows on from there.
"I think he's a player that's going to go somewhere in the Premier League this season.
"Where? I'm not quite sure."
