Announcement before the end of next week: Chelsea have won the race to sign Real Madrid star

By

Chelsea have won the race for £28million Real Madrid right-back Danilo, the Mirror has claimed.

The Blues are expected to add two more players before the end of the week with Danilo being one of them.

Manager Antonio Conte wants the deal to be completed as soon as possible so as to then shift his focus to Juventus defender Alex Sandro.

The Italian wants to add quality to his squad ahead of a long campaign in the Premier League and Champions League.

Danilo has made 55 appearances since joining Madrid from Porto back in 2015.

He could join in time to join the rest of the squad for their pre-season training in the Far East.

Willy Caballero and Antonio Rudiger are the only two signings made Chelsea so far this summer.
