Sky Sports transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol has confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been offered to Chelsea.
The 28-year-old is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window.
Serie A giants Milan are also in the race and have already opened talks with the Bundesliga club to negotiate the transfer.
"Chelsea offered chance to buy Aubameyang for £70million," Solhekol tweeted.
"Also in talks with AC Milan. Has offers from China. Window there closes Friday"
The Blues are yet to sign a new striker this summer and the future of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Michy Batshuayi remains unclear.
Manager Antonio Conte was eager to add Romelu Lukaku to his squad but the Belgium international decided to join Manchester United.
