Chelsea are on the verge of signing Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente according to Express Sport.
With Diego Costa set to leave the club and with Loic Remy and Michy Batshuayi set to follow, manager Antonio Conte is desperately trying to sign at least two strikers during the summer.
The 32-year-old enjoyed a very positive campaign last season as he scored 15 goals in the English Premier League.
He is recovering from a broken arm suffered while on his summer holidays but Conte still wants to add him to his squad.
In May, the Spaniard revealed that the Blues wanted to sign him during last winter's transfer window.
"Conte has known me since we were at Juventus," he is quoted as saying by Football 365.
"Chelsea tried to sign me in winter but Swansea would not let me go. Many things can happen in the summer.
"I have a year of contract and I am very happy. It is logical that offers can come, but we will see. I hope things go well, if I stay or I'm going.
"It was a spectacular year [here at Swansea City]. It was a bit tough at first because things did not start well, but the final was spectacular.
"There were times where the club thought they were going down, but I was able to give almost everything I had and I am very happy."
