Lazio are interested in signing former AC Milan midfielder Mario Pasalic, Calciomercato.com has claimed.
The youngster returned to Stamford Bridge after a very positive loan spell with the Rossoneri.
He scored five goals for Vincenzo Montella's side.
Lazio are determined to extend the 22-year-old's stay in the Italian league.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte considers the Croatian one for the future but would be open to loan him out for next season.
At the start of the week, his agent revealed that he is also negotiating with Spanish side Betis.
"I can only say that there are a lot of clubs interested in Pasalic of which Betis is one," Marko Naletilic told Estadio Deportivo.
"Betis are an important club in Spain and Europe, for whom I have great respect."
The youngster joined Chelsea in 2014 from Hadjuk Split but has never managed to enjoy regular first-team football at Stamford Bridge.
