Chelsea have agreed a £33.4million deal with Roma to sign Antonio Rudiger, according to Sky in Italy.
The Blues approached the Serie A giants three days ago and it seems that a financial agreement has already been reached by the two clubs.
The Germany international will become Antonio Conte's second summer signing.
The Blues have announced this afternoon that goalkeeper Willy Caballero has joined the club.
Southampton's Virgil van Dijk was Chelsea's main summer target to strengthen the defensive department.
But the Saints insist that the Dutchman is not for sale.
Rudiger, 24, will undergo his medical and will be officially announced as a Chelsea player next week.
