Chelsea have announced on their official website that striker Bertrand Traore has left the club to join Lyon.
The 21-year-old left Stamford Bridge after the two clubs reached a reported £8.8million agreement.
He impressed at Ajax last season and was eager to enjoy regular first-team football at Stamford Bridge.
But manager Antonio Conte had other ideas as he gave the nod to sell the player.
"Lyon and I intend to continue to progress, to learn with the coach and with my new team-mates," Traore told the club's official website.
"I want to help the club go far. Personally, I have set a goal to seek stability and, by signing a contract at with OL, can not ask for better.
"I have time to show everyone what I can do and what I am worth."
