Chelsea have announced that Fankaty Dabo has left the club to play for Vitesse on loan for one season.
The 21-year-old is one of the many players expected to leave Stamford Bridge to move to the Netherlands as he was all smiles after joining his new club.
Vitesse Technical Director Mo Allach told the club's official website, "With the departure of both Kevin Diks as Kelvin Leerdam was clear that something had to be done at the right back position.
"We have seen Fankaty at work several times. By his way of playing he aroused our interest."
A Chelsea club statement reads: "Fankaty Dabo has signed for Vitesse Arnhem on loan for the forthcoming campaign.
"The 21-year-old, an FA Youth Cup and Under-21 Premier League winner, can play anywhere across the defence. He made 15 appearances for Swindon Town in the second half of last season, scoring once.
He will now further his progression in the Eredivisie."
