Roma defender Kostas Manolas is set to leave the Giallorossi to join Zenit St Petersburg for £26million, the Sun has claimed.
Last week, agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos made it clear that the 26-year-old wanted to stay in the Serie A.
"There is a valid contract with Roma until 2019," Evangelopoulos told TuttoMercatoWeb.
"Kostas wants to play well in a Roma jersey.
"As for renewing his contract, at the moment I do not know. I can't respond to that question.
"But I should say that he is happy in Rome.
"[If Chelsea made contact?] I'd rather not comment."
But it now seems that the Giallorossi have reached an agreement with Roberto Mancini's new club.
The Greece international was a target for Arsenal and Chelsea last summer with the Blues making contact again this month to negotiate the transfer.
