Chelsea have agreed a £60million deal with Serie A champions Juventus for Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro according to La Repubblica.
At the end of last week, Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the Blues made a "very big" offer for the left back that was not accepted by the Bianconeri.
"Chelsea made a very big offer for Alex Sandro," Marotta told Corriere della Sera.
"We said no, but today players are masters of their own destiny."
But it now seems that the Blues have made an improved offer that has been accepted by the Champions League finalists.
The 26-year-old is one of the many players Antonio Conte demanded ahead of the summer transfer window with the club accepting to pay so as to strengthen the collaboration with the Italian manager.
If true, the £60million bid would be a club record for the Blues, whose biggest transfer fee currently stands at £50million for striker Fernando Torres.
