Chelsea are hopeful of finalising deals for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Romelu Lukaku soon, the Evening Standard has claimed.
The Blues are yet to announce any new signings but manager Antonio Conte wants to add at least two players before the start of pre-season.
Lukaku, 24, is expected to take over from Diego Costa in the offensive department.
And the 22-year-old Monaco man will add more depth and strength in midfield.
Meanwhile, the Blues have also agreed personal terms with former Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero with the 35-year-old's arrival to be confirmed later on this week.
Caballero will replace Asmir Begovic as Chelsea's reserve goal.
