Chelsea have made a "very big offer" to sign Juventus defender Alex Sandro according to the Italian giants.
CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that the Blues want to make the Brazilian their first summer signing.
Juventus value Sandro at £55million and Chelsea would need to break their transfer record to secure the services of the full-back.
Manager Antonio Conte still has a very solid relationship with the Bianconeri and hopes to take advantage of this to reach an agreement for the 26-year-old.
"Chelsea made a very big offer for Alex Sandro," Marotta told Corriere della Sera.
"We said no, but today players are masters of their own destiny."
