The agent of Roma defender Kostas Manolas opted for a "no comment" when asked about recent reports claiming that Chelsea have made contact to sign the player.
The Greece international is available for £26million according to reports in Italy with a number of Premier League clubs - including Arsenal - interested in securing his services.
But agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos insists that his client wants to continue with the Giallorossi.
"There is a valid contract with Roma until 2019," Evangelopoulos told TuttoMercatoWeb.
"Kostas wants to play well in a Roma jersey.
"As for renewing his contract, at the moment I do not know. I can't respond to that question.
"But I should say that he is happy in Rome.
"[If Chelsea made contact?] I'd rather not comment."
