Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed that the club has received an "offer from a foreign club" for Domenico Berardi.
The striker is one of the most promising youngster in Italy having stole the headlines with his performances for the Neroverdi.
Roma, Internazionale, Juventus, Milan and Premier League champions Chelsea have all been linked with the 22-year-old.
"There are numerous possibilities for Berardi," Carnevali is quoted as saying by Football Italia.
"There is always this talk of Inter and Roma, today we received an important opportunity for him from a foreign club.
"Our desire is to keep him, but we know that faced with certain offers – and based on what the player wants – it might be difficult to keep hold of him.
"These are evaluations we need to make with the player himself."
