Chelsea are in advanced talks to finalise the transfer of striker Bertrand Traore from Stamford Bridge to Lyon, Get French Football News has claimed.
It is clear that the 21-year-old will struggle to enjoy regular first-team football in Antonio Conte's squad if he stays with the Blues and according to the French website a deal is very close to be reached.
West Ham United have also shown interest in the player but it seems the French giants are now in pole position.
Earlier this week, the youngster confirmed that he will meet with Chelsea to evaluate all options for his future.
"I will go with the national team and after that take some rest," he declared.
"Then I will go back to Chelsea and have a talk – we will see. That's my hope [to be at Chelsea next season].
"That was the key when I came to Ajax – play as much as I could, do well, and try to go back to Chelsea.
"I think I had a great season but I don't decide to stay at Chelsea or move. I will see what my future will be."
