Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to complete a £35 million switch to Chelsea from Monaco according to Goal.com.
The 22-year-old will become Antonio Conte's first signing of the summer transfer window.
Monaco were interested in adding Michy Batshuayi in the deal but for now the Blues have decided to keep the Belgian at Stamford Bridge.
According to L’Equipe, the player will be officially announced as a Chelsea player at the start of next week.
Manchester United were also interested in the Frenchman but L’Equipe claims that the youngster is already looking forward to working with Antonio Conte.
Bakayoko has been one of Monaco’s key players this season as they were crowned Ligue 1 champions and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
