Reports in Italy say Leicester City attacking midfielder Riyad Mahrez will choose Chelsea, and not Arsenal, as his next club this summer.
The Algeria international confirmed last month that he will leave the Foxes as he is ready to embark on a new experience with a different club.
The Blues are favourites having qualified for next season's Champions League and the player considers them an "incredible club".
"They"re an incredible club. A real club," Mahrez is quoted as saying by Metro.
Meanwhile, manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he might make a move to secure the services of the 26-year-old.
"We have not made a bid, but personally, I like the player, yes," Wenger told beIN Sports.
"I think he made a huge impact when they won the championship," the Frenchman explained.
"Like everybody else at Leicester, this season has been more challenging, but it doesn't take away from his qualities.
"Have we made a bid for him? No. Not yet. No, we have not.
"When I say, 'not yet', it means it could happen. It might not happen."
