Chelsea have opened talks to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, offering Michy Batshuayi as part of the deal, the Daily Star has reported.
The 24-year-old is also a target for Manchester United.
Recent reports have claimed that he will opt for Stamford Bridge because of issues with United boss Jose Mourinho.
But three years ago, the Belgium international said there is no problem between him and the Portuguese.
"He wanted me to stay and asked me why I wanted to leave," Lukaku said in 2013.
"In some interviews my words were twisted, but the truth is that he accepted to let me leave.
"He did understand what I wanted. That's what I really appreciate in him."
But, his preferred destination is Stamford Bridge as he believes that he has unfinished business having failed to make an impact at Chelsea after joining from Anderlecht in the summer of 2011.
