Napoli attacking midfielder Dries Mertens has confirmed that he has offers to leave the Partenopei.
The Belgium international was one of the best players in this season's Serie A, scoring 28 goals in 35 games after being deployed in a more central role by manager Maurizio Sarri.
"Chelsea and other clubs" want to sign him during the summer transfer window.
But he says he is happy with Napoli and wants to stay in Italy.
"Yes there was interest [from Chelsea], and from other clubs also, but in my head there was never an intention to change clubs," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"This season was really good. I am going to try and be even better next year.
"Yes there is a buyout clause. But I'm happy at Napoli and I want to stay. I really like Italy. I am good there and they treat me good."
