Chelsea and Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez have already started negotiations to reach an agreement for the transfer of defender Cesar Azpilicueta, according to Metro.
The 27-year-old established himself as one of the main men in Antonio Conte's squad and is also a target for Manchester City.
With Chelsea determined not to sell to a Premier League rival, they are taking in consideration Barcelona's offer.
Last week, the Spaniard said that being linked with Barcelona is flattering.
"It's flattering that a club like Barcelona can be interested in you," Azpilicueta was quoted as saying by Express Sport.
"Last year, after a bad season on a collective level, we did not have those types of rumours.
"However, this season we have been crowned Champions and this type of story indicates that we have done well.
"Interest from teams of this level is very positive but I am very happy here. I feel very valued by the club and I do not think of anything else."
