Chelsea are winning the £40m race to sign Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko according to The Sun.
The 22-year-old is expected to leave the French giants this summer to make a move in the English Premier League.
The Blues will however face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United with recent reports in Italy claiming that the youngster would prefer a move to Old Trafford to play under Jose Mourinho.
Before the Champions League exit against Juventus, brother and advisor Abdoulaye Bakayoko has rubbished reports that he already met with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible move to the Parc des Princes.
"Some media outlets are certain Tiemoue has met with PSG's leaders to discuss a potential transfer," Abdoulaye told RMC Sport via Agence France Presse (AFP).
"These claims are totally false and without foundation.
"He currently has the chance to compete in a Champions League final, which has not happened for a French club for 13 years! I do not understand the interest in publishing something as false and farfetched as this story.
"If the Turin-based media had done this, I would probably have understood better. It is the traditional media game in the buildup to the transfer window but these particular circumstances made me break my silence."
