Chelsea defender Dion Conroy has left the club to join Aldershot Town of the National League on loan until January.
The youngster played in 34 of Chelsea’s 44 Under 21 Premier League fixtures during 2014-15 and 2015-16 and will work under manager Gary Waddock at the Recreation Ground.
The 54-year-old was full of praise for the 21-year-old after the transfer has been completed.
"Dion gives us more options," Waddock told the Shots official website.
"He can play across the back four and in the middle of the park as well, and he will give us more competition in our squad.
"He has to force his way into the side but this move will be good for his development. The physical demands of the National League will be a massive learning curve for him but it's something he will have to get used to if he is to play at the level that he wants to play at."
The Blues also announced on the club's official website that 20-year-old striker Islam Feruz has joined Belgian side Royal Mouscron on a season-long loan deal.
