Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Eduardo dos Reis Carvalho will become Chelsea's third summer signing according to his manager Zlatko Kranjcar.
Recent reports have claimed that the Blues want to add Milan's Diego Lopez in order to replace Asmir Begovic who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this month.
But Kranjcar has revealed that next week's Champions League play-off against Salzburg will be the 33-year-old's last game for the Croatian club.
"Eduardo has got the big honour to go to a big club such as Chelsea," Kranjcar is quoted as saying by
"Yes, I think he is leaving for Stamford Bridge after the Salzburg game."
If the transfer goes through, the Portuguese will be Antonio Conte's third summer signing after Michy Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante.
