Chelsea are close to completing a deal for veteran goalkeeper Diego Lopez from Italian giants AC Milan according to the Sun.
The 34-year-old is expected to take over from Asmir Begovic who will leave Stamford Bridge this month.
Lopez would add plenty of experience to Antonio Conte's squad having enjoyed spells with Real Madrid, Villarreal, Sevilla and Milan in the last decade.
At the start of the month, Milan coach Vincenzo Montella confirmed that the goalkeeper could leave the club in these last few weeks of the summer transfer window.
"He is a great goalkeeper but he doesn’t know what the future holds for him as it has not been decided," Montella said.
"He has not ruled anything out."
