Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly wants to join Chelsea and negotiations could be completed this week, reports in Italy have confirmed.
The Senegalese is currently preparing the new season with the rest of the Napoli team and has also scored two goals against Nice in a pre-season friendly.
But his agent insists that the Partenopei have not offered an improved package and the player could soon leave the club.
"It's normal you think about it when other teams offer a much better contract," his agent told Il Mattino.
The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign at the San Paolo last season and has been linked with a number of top European clubs so far this summer.
Napoli made it clear in a number of occasions that he is not for sale but agent Bruno Satin is determined to find a new team for his client unless the Serie A giants offer a new contract.
